Chef-Owner Irese Harris’ grandmother had a simple house rule: If you’re old enough to walk and talk, you’re old enough to help out around the house. So when that day came, she starting helping her grandmother cook for the household and fully took over the responsibility at age 13. After a career with stops at nearly every position in a professional kitchen, she’s made a home at Parlor getting back to what she’s always loved: Cooking the kinds of foods she enjoys making for loved ones. The inspiration for Just Put an Egg on It comes from a drive to experiment with bold flavor combinations in food that anyone can eat, no matter their dietary needs or restrictions. Even if you don’t like eggs, you’ll find delicious bites to enjoy.
